No-barrier access, operationalized

Learn how Easy Access Clinics™ are designed to remove barriers, support first-trimester entry, and create an immediate maternity medical home—so families can get care early and consistently.

A complete MCH clinic model

Implementation support includes self-paced modules plus cohort learning and consultation focused on practical integration in your setting—operations, staffing, and care delivery.

Outcomes-driven, equity-centered

The model is built to achieve and document equitable outcomes (including gestational age and birth weight goals) and strengthen patient engagement and satisfaction.

About the training

An Easy Access Clinic™ provides prenatal and postpartum outpatient care services in a community-embedded Perinatal Safe Spot™ using the JJ Way® Model of Maternal Health Care. The design supports culturally-congruent care, educational and social support, and trusted referrals so barriers to early-entry are removed. Thus, an immediate maternity medical home is created, with no one ever turned away for services. This training prepares clinic teams to implement the Easy Access™ Model with clarity and consistency. The JJ Way® is a “way of being” that centers the birthing parent/baby/family first and operationalizes access, connection, knowledge, and empowerment to reduce disparities and improve outcomes. What’s included:    - Self-paced virtual modules (~5 hours) for team members    - 6–10 personalized 1-hour consultations/team trainings to integrate the model into your specific setting    -  All-team virtual training sessions as needed    - Post-training review of implementation and certification decision; re-certification considered bi-annually Who this is for: This training is for community-based clinics/organizations providing maternity care that can be evaluated using JJ Way® standards and that have the readiness to commit time, staffing, and improvement processes.

Jennie Joseph™

Midwife Jennie Joseph™ is the Founder of the long-standing non-profit organization, Commonsense Childbirth, Inc. and the Creator of The JJ Way® Maternal Child Health Model. The founding Easy Access Clinic™, located in Central Florida, was launched in 1998 to provide unimpeded access to prenatal/postpartum care and women’s health services, including immediate triage and expedited referral for high-risk maternity cases. Through its clinical health services, Commonsense Childbirth has historically served 500–700 demographically diverse clients annually, and reports long-term outcome patterns including a consistent <5% prematurity or low birth weight rate and no maternal deaths over more than twenty-five years of operation. This training brings the operational “how” of the Easy Access™ Model to teams seeking a replicable, community-grounded approach to safe and equitable perinatal care.
